| In April 2003, I flew to my hometown Wichita, Kansas to create a whimsical sculpture entitled "The Air Capitol's Flying Extravaganza". The piece is currently installed at the Wichita Municipal Airport. It was created as part of the Plane Crazy event which is celebrating 100 years of aviation. Wichita is commonly known as the "Air Capitol" because it has remained at the fore front of aviation manufacturing and design since the early days of the airline industry. |
