The bloom series looks at the long history of human/plant interrelationships and compares this to the natural ecosystems that were adapted to or developed in order to insure the plants continual survival.  These blooms are collaged windows into psychedelic ecology, the space where plant enthusiasm goes beyond hard science and becomes something far more personal.  

I've also been making small (18 x 18) collaged paper birthday blooms that fold up into a bud and are cut open to reveil the bloom.  Very nice gifts.
I'll post some pictures of those soon.
